The Centre for Teaching and Learning, supported by the Canvas Programme is providing a dedicated helpdesk service to support staff with remote teaching in the 2020/21 academic year.
The service provides staff with help from experts in several areas, including digital education, educational development, and the Canvas VLE, all of whom are available to help departments, faculties and colleges with any queries related to the delivery of remote teaching.
We can support with:
- Adaptation of courses to online provision
- Advising on, delivering and signposting to training as appropriate
- Creation and set up of new courses in your VLE
- Provision of general advice and any other queries relating to remote teaching provision.
The helpdesk is available Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00 and can be contacted by emailing the Teaching Remotely Service Desk. Please note this helpdesk can only assist with queries relating to remote teaching. Please contact the General Service Desk if your question does not relate to remote teaching.
If you would like assistance outside these hours, you can use live chat with Instructure 24/7 without logging into Canvas, or you can contact them through the Help button on the global navigation menu once inside Canvas.
