H5P is a tool for creating more interactive learning objects that can be used for teaching a variety of subjects. From interactive videos to branching scenarios, to whole course presentations with micro assessments, H5P objects are easy to create and share. They can be moved between systems and embedded in a page as easily as a YouTube video.
Anybody can try using them for free on http://h5p.org.
Cost
The University has a limited number of licences.
Since 1 October 2025, H5P licenses are managed on a rolling basis to ensure fair access and the ongoing availability of the platform for active users. Any account that has been inactive for 60 days will be archived to free up licenses for others.
For more information about the archiving process, please refer to the relevant guidance in Canvas or contact the Centre for Teaching and Learning's Digital Education team at digital.education@ctl.ox.ac.uk.
