Focus on Tutorial and Small Group Teaching

The 5th meeting of Oxford Teaching Innovation Forum (OxTIF) will take place at St Anne’s College on Wednesday May 6th at 2-4.30pm. The focus of this meeting will be on innovative teaching practices within the tutorial and small group setting. We will have speakers providing an insight into tutorial teaching in the sciences across colleges, exploring the use of digital technology in tutorials and adopting the tutorial teaching style for online small group teaching.

  • Helen Christian, Deputy Head of Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics, Director of Graduate Studies, Director of Teaching and Education and University Lecturer:

  • Cedric Tan, Post-Doctoral Researcher, Department of Biology:

  • Sumathi Sekaran, Senior Course Tutor, Oxford Online Programme for Sleep Medicine:
    'Adopting tutorial teaching methods in online small group teaching'
