Who should attend?
Academic and professional services staff at Oxford colleges responsible for planning, organising, or managing academic skills provision.
This includes roles such as Senior Tutor, Tutor for Undergraduates, Course Director, Study Skills Adviser, and Academic Skills Lecturer. Each college team could in addition include College librarians, student welfare staff or other staff involved with delivering academic skills support to students in college.
What is the event?
Hosted by the University’s Academic Skills Development Project, with support from the Centre for Teaching and Learning, this full-day, in-person forum will introduce the new Academic Skills Provision Toolkit for Colleges and provide a space for you to:
- Explore the toolkit and its practical applications
- Map and review current academic skills provision
- Identify opportunities for enhancement
- Share approaches, successes, and challenges with colleagues from other Oxford colleges.
It will also give you an opportunity to contribute to a growing community of practice.
